How Flexitank Logistics Works
From installation to final delivery.
- Flexitank Selection — We assess the cargo characteristics, volume, loading requirements and transport route to determine the appropriate flexitank solution.
- Installation — The flexitank is installed inside a standard 20-foot container. Installation can be carried out at a BATI warehouse or at the designated loading location.
- Loading — Once installed, the flexitank is connected to the loading system using a hose and pump. Depending on the cargo and pumping equipment, the loading process typically takes approximately 20–40 minutes.
- Transportation — The loaded container can be transported by road, rail or sea, allowing seamless integration into international multimodal supply chains.
- Unloading — At destination, the cargo is transferred using a pump, enabling efficient and controlled unloading with minimal residual product.
- Disposal — After unloading, the single-use flexitank is removed and disposed of in accordance with applicable requirements.
